How to Access the New York State Adjutant General's Report
or Frederick Phisterer's "New York in the War of the Rebellion:"

1. Go to to the N.Y.S. Library's Digital Civil War collection.

2. To view the listing of the Adjutant-General's Report, click on "Registers of New York Regiments in the War of the Rebellion."

3. To view Phisterer, click on "New York in the War of the Rebellion." Keep in mind that Phisterer covers only officers.
