REV. THOMAS BOYD HUDSON Death at Skaneateles of Seminary Alumnus and Regimental Chaplain. Rev. Thomas Boyd Hudson, D.D., died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William B. Fenn, at Skaneat- eles this morning in his 86th year. Doctor Hudson had been ill for about five weeks and his death was not un- expected. The deseased was a grad- uate of Hamilton college, class of 1855, and of Auburn Theological Seminary, class of 1859. He held many pastorates of Presbyterian churches in New York State. While pastor of the Presbyterian church at Clinton, N.Y., he was elected to the office of treasurer of Hamilton Col- lege, which position he held for about ten years. Upon his retirement from the ministry about 15 years ago, Doctor Hudson made his home in Skaneat- eles. At the time of his death and for several years prior thereto Doctor Hudson was the chaplain of the Sev- enty-fifth regiment of N.Y. Volunteers, and a conspicuous figure at reunions of the regiment. Besides Mrs. Fenn, one other daughter, Mrs. William C. Covert of Chicago survives. The funeral will be held at the residence of his dau- ghter at Skaneateles tomorrow at 4 p.m. and the remains will be tak- en to Clinton, N.Y., for burial.
