March 17, 1839 - February 27, 1916

25 years old. Enlisted on August 31, 1864, at Stockbridge, NY, as a Private, age 25.
On September 23, 1864, he mustered into Co. E, 189th NYSV.
He was Mustered Out on May 30, 1865, at Washington, DC.
Promoted to 1st Sergeant.
