Captain Lansing Hollister, Co. D, 120th NYSV. Joined at Kingston Aug. 1862 as
Captain, age 22; KIA July 2, 1863 at Gettysburg; "Captain Hollister had his
haversack taken from his side by a solid shot. A second shot came along and
killed him while he was talking to some friends about the first."

Captain Ambrose N. Baldwin, Co. K, 80th NYSV. 2d Lt. 20th NYSM; joined 80th
NYSV Sept. 1861 at Kingston as Captain; WIA at Antietam; KIA July 3, 1863 at
Gettysburg.
- # 305 - New Baltimore - Chartered Oct. 25, 1882.
A.O. Bliss? Corporal Alonzo O. Bliss, Co. L, 10th NY Cavalry. Joined Sept.
1862 at Cortland, age 18; promoted to corporal May 1865; served following month
in 1st NY Provisional Cavalry.
- # 348 - Cairo - Chartered July 22, 1889.
Corporal John H. Betts, Co. K, 120th NYSV. Joined at Cairo July 1862, age 24;
suffered a severe neck wound at Gettysburg; discharged May 1865; died in 1884.
- # 514 - Catskill - Chartered Sept. 24, 1884 - Disbanded 1924.
Second Lieutenant John W. Watson, Company H, 5th Iowa Cavalry. A native of Greene County, Watson moved to Iowa in 1860 to practice law with his brother-in-law. He enlisted on October 26, 1861, as a Fisrt Sergeant; was promoted to 2d Lt. on August 1, 1862; was killed at the battle of Nashville on December 15, 1864.
