GRAND ARMY POST.---A post of the Grand Army of the Republic was organized at West Eaton this evening of the 18th instant. It is known as Post Morse, in honor of Alfred Ayer Morse, son of the late Ellis Morse, who was killed at Winchester, Va., and buried in the Eaton cemetery. The following were mus- tered in: Henry M. Knowles, Commander; Leander J. White, Senior Vice-Commander; George W. Bedell, Quartermaster; Oscar L. Cook, Adjutant; Elias J. Thomas, Officer of the Day; Robert Scott, Officer of the Guard; W.E. Enos, Chaplain; C.V. Johnson, Quarter- master Sergeant, and privates Charles B. Bur- rett, Edward Lewis, David Bristol, Michael Lont and William Green. This bids fair to be one of the largest Posts in the county. After the muster the company were entertained by George W. Bedell at the hotel.
