An untapped source of visual history are the images to be
found in regimental histories, and other books on particular N.Y. Units. This
page is an attempt to organize Image Indexes into a format that
makes the images more accessible to the researcher. Most of the images are
not accessible via the Internet (not yet, anyway), just a listing of the images to be found in books on the following
