John Lafayette Riker

Enlisted on April 19, 1861, at Saltersville, NJ, as a Colonel, age 39.
On July 3, 1861, he was commissioned into
the Field & Staff of the 62d NYSV.
He was killed on May 31, 1862, at Fair Oaks, VA.
