 Chicago, May 11.---Colonel Stephen
Williamson Stryker, a former member
of the Chicago Zouaves, died at his
home in this city of acute asthma,
aged 61. Colonel Stryker was one of the
men who guarded the body of Colonel
Ellsworth on its way from Alexandria, 
Va., to New York, and later made a
fine war record.
